What's an "Organic Optimization"?

How Our Process Works

Your site is listed in the search engine results based primarily on the words search engines can read within your site (its content) and the words which form the hyperlinks pointing to your website from other sites on the web.  In very competitive keyword environments, the number of hyperlinks and the “authority level” of the pages those links reside on combine to form another important ranking factor (its popularity).

The combined value for content and popularity determine where in the hierarchy of related sites yours should be listed for any particular word.

Using a strong foundation of search engine experience and knowledge, we start your project by reverse engineering the top ranking competitors for your target keywords to discern what it is about their content and popularity that the search engines deem is page-one-worthy.  We then reverse engineer your site to determine how it is deficient relative to your top keyword competitors.

Part Art & Creativity

With the ranking criteria and keyword research in hand, we create revised copy for your existing web pages, we create new copy for the additional pages that will be added to your site, and we compose the new meta tags for each of your pages.  If necessary, we also devise more efficient navigation for the search engine spiders to follow.

We then work with your web designer to insert the optimized components into your website.  The revised copy, new pages of content, and any revised navigation deemed necessary will be uploaded with effectively zero downtime caused to your site.  Search engine submittal at this point, ensures that the engines re-crawl your site and update their databases with the new content.

The above cycle will occur several times during the course of the project.  Each time, the keyword ranking reports and the traffic statistics will document your site’s progress as it climbs through the rankings for your keyword.

When a link popularity campaign is included with your optimization project, we track down sites that will be valuable to get links from in terms of solidifiying your site's position in its "neighborhood". We then contact the webmasters of those sites and work to provide them with something of value so that they will put a one-way link back to your site. That means those links will help to bring you targeted traffic and give you a big edge up on your competitors in the search rankings.
