Some may think that's a little weird, but not our clients. The fact is, you want someone with a hefty amount of word-geekiness to optimize your website. A wordsmith's inspection of your content is like having a well trained mechanic inspect your car for potential problems. The difference is, however, that waiting few years before having your website's content inspected means it's going to be a few years before it actually runs the way you expected it would.
And keywords are at the crux of that matter. Along with proper website architecture, sufficient backlinks and content that's thematically relevant to your target keywords, proper keyword choice is one of the pillars upon which a website's search engine optimization is built. Simply put, if you don't have a working formula to determine which keywords to use and how to integrate them into the pages of your website, you are going to be disappointed with your organic search engine traffic.

What does your content say about your site?
Try This: Copy and paste the written words on any particular page of your site (or a competitor's) into a text document. Now look at the words. Are your keywords in there? Are they near the top of the content and in a variety of forms? Do your sentences use vocabulary that is specifically related to the subject matter of your keywords? If so you're heading in the right direction. More on how to do your keyword research.
