Chris Menke began optimizing websites for a few, select web designers back in 2005. Designers loved the quality of his work, the commitment that he made to quality customer service, and they loved 
that he consistently succeeded in getting sites ranked for keywords that brought traffic to their clients.
The important things haven't changed much since then. Not at Metapilot, anyhow. Keeping current on the technical aspects of SEO and social media still take up a significant amount of Chris' time. Seminars, testing new techniques, trialing new tools, reading industry blogs, and analyzing current and past SEO results is extremely valuable to the success of our clients. The commitment to clear, friendly, and knowledgeable communication with clients continues to be a priority and a source of pride. And, of course, the drive to see every project to its successful conclusion is an overriding constant..
Metapilot has evolved, however. Yes, there are a wider variety of clients these days but a dozen or so projects at a time and lasting from between three months to one year is about max. It is also true that social media has entered the scene since those early days and has become a large component in many of projects--to the benefit of everyone involved.
